The SIP Industrial F25-GB 8-Speed 900w 400v Floor Pillar Drill is a heavy-duty pillar drill specifically designed for professional metalworking and fabrication workshops.

Featuring an 8-speed gear drive transmission, this drill delivers high torque output across a consistent spindle speed of 105rpm - 2900rpm for powerful and precise drilling up to 25mm max. diameter. This allows the operator to set the exact spindle speed needed to drill the material.

A gear drive transmission also eliminates belt slippage as no manual pulley speed adjustments are required. This allows for quicker and easier speed changes, which reduces downtime and increases workshop productivity.

Using easy-to-operate levers on the headstock, operators gain full control of the drilling speed range (105rpm - 2900pm). This means the spindle speed can be precisely set to suit the material being drilled, resulting in a clean and accurate drill hole up to 25mm max. diameter.
A gear drive transmission also eliminates manual pulley speed changes, meaning operators can set-up jobs and perform changeovers more quickly, helping to reduce downtime and boost workshop productivity.
Fitted with a heavy-duty drill chuck and compatible with MT3 (Morse Taper 3), this heavy-duty configuration will withstand the forces and vibrations of professional drilling and maintain operator safety.
A depth stop is also fitted which eliminates guesswork and ensures consistent holes of the same depth are drilling during repetitive tasks.

HEAVY-DUTY COMPONENTS IDEAL FOR CONTINUOUS USE IN PRODUCTION & ASSEMBLY ENVIRONMENTS

A thick central column and heavy baseplate help to minimise vibration for stability, helping to maintain precise and accurate drilling. The baseplate should be anchored to the ground to maximise stability.
A large height-adjustable drill press table (560mm L x 475mm D) offers added versatility for handling materials and assemblies of different thicknesses and heights. This can also rotate left to right offering additional clearance for drilling longer or awkwardly-shaped workpieces.
For further flexibility, the height-adjustable drill head offers further clearance for drilling and helps operators reach optimal height.

INTEGRATED ENHANCED SAFETY FEATURES DESIGNED TO ACTIVELY PROTECT OPERATORS FOR SECURE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

For added safety a protective chuck guard shields users from swarf and debris when drilling. This also disables the drill from operating when opened.
A low voltage (24v) control circuit minimises electric shock which limits harm to machine operators.
An interlocking safety switch prevents the drill from running when the headstock covers are opened.
